Creative Portfolio

Here are some examples of the various types of work I’ve done over the years. I start with Independent Film related projects, moving to commissioned video work, and end with a couple samples of branding & identity. You can find my photography portfolio by clicking here.

Gamut – Short Film

Inspired by the works of Ingmar Bergman, I created Gamut, a micro-budget experimental short film. I shot, directed, produced, edited, and co-wrote the film, taking the lead in all things visual. I also directed a VFX artist, Colorist, and Emmy nominated Sound Designer to bring it to fruition. It is currently private and has been submitted to multiple film festivals in the circuit.

Cymbeline In Quarantine – YouTube Series

During the pandemic, I’ve been editing and helping produce a whacky Shakespeare play that I also act in. It’s Classical Theatre meets Classic Soap Opera with a hint of Monty Python. Since it was all shot on Zoom, I pushed towards a glitchy, technological style with the scene transitions, title sequences, intros, and credits. An absurd amount of research went into learning about YouTube as a platform, and designing the series along with its graphic materials to have a cohesive brand and fit within the platform’s culture.

Walk Away Film – Social Media Launch

To help promote an independent film’s release, I tackled the launch of Walk Away’s Instagram account. Using footage from the film, and pre-existing design assets, I created content that would be eye-catching and fit within the parameters of the platform.

@walkaway is streaming on Amazon Prime and the Roku Channel.

The Movement Creative - Web Content

Working as a Project Manager for an athletics education startup, I oversaw and organized a lot of different operations, both behind the scenes and public facing. Once the pandemic hit, I had to kick myself and my team into high gear to start producing content for a new potential online customer base. The big question was how to transition a company so rooted in physical contact and in-person training to find solutions for virtual programming. I aided in the transition and helped lead the team to keep the company afloat and in business.

Dan Aguirre Photography

Identity & web design for one of the top Wedding Photographers in the Greater Boston Area. Dan’s goal was to stand out among all of the typical flowery wedding brands. My team and I decided to take a more elegant typographic approach, while embodying the boldness of his work with the use of color.

Bárka

Concept for a sophisticated dog-centric brand focused on pet transportation. For the luxury pet owner, I used typography to embody a fun-loving yet intelligent feel to the identity. I combined the Albanian word “varka,” meaning “boats,” and the Czech word “várka,” meaning “batch,” with the German character “ß” to create a simple and recognizable mark.
