  • Leadership role: Working with the students in their residence hall to establish norms and expectations to live by. Also strives to establish a true sense of community and is a catalyst for many of the activities that are planned in the residence hall. In addition, each Community Advisor serves resident students as a peer counselor, mediator, peer advisor, and a general resource.  July 2010 - Present

    • The Photography program at AIB is an intensive four year experience that not only has developed my technical skills but my creative and conceptual abilities as well. My seminars and portfolio classes give weekly critiques that constantly keep me thinking about how to communicate my ideas with various skills. It has been challenging, strengthening, and refreshing all together.

    Digital workflow:

    • Hardware: Canon cameras (video and still), 5d Mark II, Nikon cameras, Epson Inkjet Printers, LaCie storage (Very organized file archiving). 
    • Software: Mac/PC platforms, Adobe Creative Suite CS5 (Photoshop, Bridge, Illustrator, Premier, After Effects), Lightroom 2 and 3. 
    • Technical: Analog/digital photography workflow, color management for web and print, digital prepress and print production, lighting for product/copy reproduction, Virb.com, Vimeo, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, MySpace. 
    • Film/video set assisting, Canon HD, steady cams, cranes, dollies, logging, etc. 
    • Post production editing, Final Cut, Premier, iMovie, After Effects. 
    • Audio Recording. 

    Lighting and grip:

    • Profoto lighting, Hot lights, White lightning. 
    • Experienced set builder, fast and meticulous carpentry skills, careful and efficient, manual/power tools, heavy weight lifting. 
    • Extremely familiar with New England, knows way around all parts of Boston, great sense of direction.
